Alisha & Ed | A Fun, Personal Wedding in Late Summer

We first met Alisha and Ed along with their niece back in August 2024 when they scheduled a tour of our beautiful barn. Their tour guide described them as the definition of "they bring out the best in each other". Their tour guide reflected on her time with them, "Alisha messaged me they arrived and let me know what they were wearing so I could spot them. It was such a sweet message and meeting them was so much fun. Alisha and Ed have the chemistry that reminds you of two sitcoms characters. I remember Alisha saying they had a tour already scheduled for the next day. She kept asking what she needed to do and if she should just call and cancel the tour as they loved the Barn so much. Ed was cool as a cucumber, shades on, and told her they could cancel if this was the place for them. Less than three hours later, I got a text AND an email that the Barn was their place!"

364 days later, their wedding day was here! Their coordinator described them as a sweet, goofball couple that had the most beautiful day. She had a fond memory of meeting them back at the tasting where they refer to her as the "wedding general". With personalized touches that made guests excited to private moments that left the couple with memories for a lifetime, the Barn was honored to witness it all. Their coordinator is still not over Alisha and Ed's emotional first look where there was not a dry eye on our wooden bridge. The grounds were stunning and a beautiful backdrop for Alisha and Ed's photos. Their coordinator was so excited to have a "cotton candy skies" as well!

The ceremony led by Ed's sister as their officiant was the sweetest touch. Both their families were so kind and constantly joking around with each other. Later in the dance floor was electric! They kicked the night off with the Star Wars Theme Song as their line up announcement. The guests loved dancing with the glow sticks provided by the couple. The night was just a nonstop dance party and smiles for everyone.

Alisha & Ed's day in their own words:

"The Barn at Blackstone National was the perfect venue for us! We fell in love instantly with the rustic feel and the beautiful landscape, it ended up being the only venue we toured! We are so happy with our choice! The staff is friendly and keeps constant communication. Our wedding coordinator, Jocelyn, was absolutely amazing and helped make our wedding day perfect. Our guests raved about the beautiful rustic interior and how delicious the food was! If we could do it over, we wouldn’t change a thing! We highly recommend the barn to anyone getting married! You won’t regret it!"
